Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 11, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using GameCard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

GameCard is a web-based tool for managing youth sports teams — including rosters, game records, batting orders, and lineup rules. The Service is subject to change at any time. Pricing, free access, and feature availability may be updated at the sole discretion of the operator.

3. Free Access and Team Limits

Access to GameCard may be offered free of charge at the sole discretion of the operator. Free access is not guaranteed, is not a right, and may be modified, restricted, or discontinued at any time without notice.

As of the effective date of these Terms, coaches are currently granted one (1) team at no charge. This number is subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the operator — it may be increased, decreased, or eliminated without prior notice. Creation of teams beyond the number currently granted requires a paid subscription — see Section 4 below.

4. Payment Terms, Billing, and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you select, and are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price at the end of each billing period until canceled.

Cancellation is self-service: you can cancel at any time from the Subscription section of your Profile page, without needing to contact us. Canceling does not end your access immediately — your subscription remains active through the end of the then-current paid billing period, and your account reverts to the free tier only after that period ends. There are no partial-period or immediate cutoffs.

All charges are final and non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time after cancellation, and downgrades, except where required by applicable law. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until the issue is resolved. Prices are subject to change; existing subscribers will be given notice before a price change takes effect on their next renewal.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. The Service may contain errors or be unavailable at times, and we are not responsible for any resulting inconvenience or loss.

6. No Guaranteed Availability

We may modify, suspend, or shut down GameCard — in whole or in part — at any time, with or without notice. You have no right to continued access to the Service or to any data stored in it. We recommend keeping your own copies of any important records.

7. Your Data

You are solely responsible for the data you store in GameCard. We are not liable for any loss, corruption, unauthorized access, or other harm to your data. We make no guarantees about how long data will be retained.

8. Player Data and Minors

GameCard is intended for use by adults. If you store information about players who are minors, you represent that you have appropriate authorization to do so, and you are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable laws or organizational policies regarding minors' personal information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameCard and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data — arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim or one U.S. dollar ($1).

10. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GameCard only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the Service, access other users' accounts, reverse-engineer any part of the Service, or use it for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time and for any reason. You may delete your own account at any time from your Profile page, which will permanently remove all associated data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of GameCard after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
