Everything a youth team needs, handled.

Roster Management

Build your roster once at the start of the season: player names, positions, parent emails, and preferences. GameCard carries it through every game and practice all season long. Mark players absent from individual games without touching anything else.

Automatic Lineups

GameCard generates a complete, fair lineup for every game: inning-by-inning for baseball, rotation-by-rotation for soccer. Forty-five minutes of mental math becomes 30 seconds. Adjust anything you want, or use it as-is and get back to your day.

Season Schedule

Add games and practices manually or import your entire season schedule from a calendar link in one step. Every event shows up in the coach view and the parent view automatically: dates, times, locations, opponents.

Parent Communication

Add a parent's email to their player's profile and they're set for the season: automatic game-day and practice-day reminders, schedule access, snack sign-ups, and coach messages. All without any recurring action on your end.

Set up your roster once. Use it all season.

Add players with their positions, parent contact information, and any relevant preferences, like a soccer player who doesn't want to play goalkeeper. That's it. GameCard uses this information for every lineup, every reminder, and every parent view for the rest of the season.

When someone moves, quits, or joins mid-season, update the roster in seconds. No spreadsheets to sync, no other tool to update.

Attendance tracking without the clipboard.

Before each game, check off who's coming. GameCard automatically rebuilds the lineup around who's available, with no manual adjustment needed. The rotation stays fair for the players who show up.

If a player shows up unexpectedly or has to leave early, add or remove them in seconds. GameCard regenerates the remaining rotations on the spot.

Share the load with assistant coaches.

Add an assistant coach from your Team Details page. Enter their email and they can view and manage the team from their own account. They see the roster, the lineup, and the schedule. The one thing only the head coach controls is Algorithm Settings and adding or removing players.

No more texting a photo of the lineup to your assistant at 7am. The app is the single source of truth for the whole staff, on any device.

Set up in 15 minutes. Runs itself after that.

Create Your Team

1. Create your team

Pick your sport (baseball or soccer), name your team, and choose your game format. For soccer, that means picking 5v5, 7v7, 9v9, or 11v11. GameCard sets up the right positions automatically.

This takes about 2 minutes.

Build Your Roster

2. Build your roster

Add players one by one or in bulk. For each player, set their positions, rankings, and parent email. That's all GameCard needs to run lineups and send parent reminders for the whole season.

Budget about 10 minutes for a full team of 12–14 players.

Add Your Schedule

3. Add your schedule

Import your season schedule from a calendar link in one step, or add games and practices one at a time. Either way, everything shows up in both the coach view and the parent view automatically.

Run Your Season

4. Run your season

Before each game, check off who's coming and generate the lineup. Takes under a minute. Parents get their reminders automatically. You coach. GameCard handles the rest.

I've tried spreadsheets, apps, paper lineups, everything. GameCard is the first tool I've actually used consistently all season. It just works.

Questions about team management

Can I use GameCard for multiple teams?
Pick the closest standard format (9v9) and then customize the positions freely. You can add, remove, or rename positions to match your league's setup. The rotation algorithm works with whatever positions you define.
What if my roster changes mid-season?
Fair means no player is consistently assigned to the same positions while others rotate freely. GameCard's algorithm weighs each player's rankings and position eligibility against built-in fairness rules to spread positions equitably. It also factors in your player rankings for key positions, so fairness and competitiveness aren't in conflict.
Do assistant coaches need their own GameCard account?
On each player's profile, you set which position types they're eligible for. If a player can only play defender and midfielder, they're never assigned to forward or goalkeeper. The rotation is built around each player's eligibility settings automatically.
Is GameCard free?
Yes, for now. GameCard is free while we're in early access. Create your team, build your roster, and generate lineups at no cost. No credit card required. That will change as we add features, so getting started now locks in free access before pricing goes live.
Does it work for recreational leagues?
Absolutely. GameCard was built with rec league coaches in mind. Fair rotation matters even more when every kid is just there to play. The app works the same way whether you're running a Saturday morning rec league or a competitive travel team.
